1. mascara. it's time to buy some new mascara and i can't quite decide what i want to try next. i am currently using the stila major lash mascara, but it is heartbreakingly awful. smudges like crazy. and we all know that i am desperately trying to trick someone (anyone) into falling in love with me and it's never going to happen if i have mascara smudges! so what do you guys use? any suggestions?? i am looking for something that volumizes (73% more volume, ideally) and does not smudge at all. i am not very particular about lengthening or curling my lashes.
2. hair. after seeing he's just not that into you (twice), i had become obsessed with gigi's hair. obsessed. i was planning on chopping it all off and attempting to learn how to maybe create some soft finger waves. i think i could rock the look. but the other day i noticed that my hair was doing this wonderful lauren bacall kind of thing. and i really liked it. so maybe i will keep my hair shoulder length for now and explore this further.
3. red lipstick. after three trips to sephora (twice alone and once with jillian) i am still not satisfied with any of the red lipstick options. now that i am a grown-up (ish), i feel like i should trade in my glitter lip glosses and lipsmackers for something a little more sophisticated. something that's very 1950s. something that's very lauren bacall.
I want red lipstick too! Ever since I watched Mad Men. We will take care of this when you are here.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I use the maybelleine mascara in the pink and green tube. Very inexpensive and works well. I use to have some Lancome stuff that was awesome too, but it was really good for length and you don't care for that.

ReplyDeletei am kind of thinking of going back to the pink and green mascara too. it's cheap. and i need to replace my mascara more often than most people because i always seem to get eye infections.
and can we please talk about how mad men is the greatest thing ever in the history of the world? i want to wear nothing but pencil skirts and learn how to put my hair in an up-do!
