someone is wrong on the internet.

so i run across this today. which doesn't really bother me too much. because texas politicians say this kind of crap all the time. really, is anyone surprised?

what caught my attention is that someone left this comment:

"Texas is a Mexican / Spanish name, Betty Boop…maybe you should change the name of your State to something American."

which annoys the ever living daylights out of me. texas is from an indian word for "friend." and really, what is more american than native americans?
