guys, i have some very sad news. at approximately 7:41 last night. at the corner of madison and 58th. my purse died.
my beautiful purple patent leather purse.
she's been with me through so much. one strap broke a couple months ago. on the subway platform with josh and the mcsisters. last night, the other strap gave way.
her lining is ripped. her straps are broken. and my heart is aching.
i'll be holding a memorial service this evening. in lieu of flowers, i ask that you please donate to a worthy charity -- the let's buy a new bag for sarah foundation.
she is survived by a delightful yellow patent leather bag. a couple of clutches. and more shiny wallets than i care to admit.
I think that yellow purse we saw at Kate Spade is still on sale. You got a raise, right?
