at the risk of boring everyone to death

article in nytimes about the changing interfaces of lexis and westlaw.

apparently, everyone has been peeing in their pants about the new wl. i haven't seen it yet. but from what i've heard, the people who have seen it had to sign confidentiality agreements out the wazoo. my rep freaked out over the fact that someone had leaked the name of the new product. and my boss had to close the blinds when a rep showed her. god forbid a window washer or someone across the street got a vague glimpse of something they care absolutely nothing about.

anyway, i think the whole thing is oddly hilarious. it'll be interesting to see all the old-school librarians and attorneys freaking out over this.
