shhh. there's a sleeping marine on my couch.

i once told my roommate how gentlemen visitors were only allowed in the girls dorms during visiting hours at baylor. and when you brought a guy into the dorms, he was supposed to call out "man in the hall" as a warning to all the ladies.

last night, one of her friends slept on our couch. she very thoughtfully woke me up to announce that, indeed, there was a man in the hall.

and then i fell back asleep. in a fit of giggles.
