with the possible exception of elizabeth barrett browning, i have to admit that jane austen is one of my least favorite authors of all time. i think i would rather endure the twilight series than be forced to reread pride and prejudice.
with that said, i am secretly excited about this. i think it'll be a dramatic improvement over the original.
