if you liked it then you shoulda put a comment on it.

what? no comments on my video games post? man. i thought that one was genuinely funny.

it had several things going for it:

1. the somewhat amusing image in your head of me playing video games like an 82 year old woman would. complaining about slipping around too much on the ice and spending 2 minutes trying to time my jumps correctly. my sister can vouch for the fact that i am awful at sonic. and mandy can vouch for my mario bros skillz. or lack thereof.

2. the collective nostalgia of oldschool games. a round of warm fuzzies for everyone!

3. the fact that this was my first blog post in 3 months that did not mention pms/periods or me crying in public. everyone should be grateful for that.

i give you guys pure gold. and no one appreciates it.

this is like the time i tried to convince jessica to let me make a tshirt with a picture of her face on it and the "no smoking" red circle around it. and then walk around in public with her while wearing the shirt.

i'm still convinced that this is genuinely funny. regardless of what anyone else says (mandy, alyson, carolyn, jessica, the entire blogosphere, people with an actual sense of humor.)

ugh. whatever. if anyone ever wants to come over to play nintendo, you're invited. i'll bake brownies. but you have to pretend to laugh at my jokes!

You must learn to be better that video games. They are way better than books. ;)

  2. time your jumps correctly? It's like you purposefully drive the characters into the lava. everytime. drives me nuts. Good thing you are so cute! :)

  3. Another sign you might be PMSing is that you you get mad that nobody posted a comment on something you posted six hours ago. ;)

But I do like your response. I feel like I got two posts for the price of one! Woo Hoo!

Keep them coming I love every one of them.

  4. geez campos, boys are never allowed to talk about pms! it's against the laws of nature or something.

also, i assume everyone subscribes to my blog using some kind of rss feed. therefore, they should be keeping up with my posts. minute-by-minute. 6 hours is plenty of time.

good thing jenny can put up with both of us. i don't know how she does it.

  5. paul - you are forgiven. i have a feeling writing a masters thesis and getting married takes up quite a bit of time. i mean, i wouldn't know. because my degree is fake and i plan on becoming an old spinster librarian. but i can imagine.

also i'm still really bummed that amanda vetoed the 'game over' nintendo wedding cake. best. idea. ever.
