i love tv.

i know it's lame to write about tv shows. there is a fine line between casually mentioning a popular tv show and, oh, i don't know, liveblogging the mtv movie awards (andy samberg hosting!) or writing LOST fanfiction (first things first, i would bring charlie back from the dead.)

but jon and kate. plus eight. last night's premier was tense. i was stressed out the entire time. i do not like talking about my feelings. and i'm even more uncomfortable watching other people talk about their feelings.

my thoughts:

1. kate's appearance. she needs desperate help. her skin is turning more and more orange. and her hair is getting more and more lopsided. the fake nails and streaky highlights are not helping either.

2. i think most people have chosen sides. i'm on jon's. sure, he's acting very immature (making faces at the camera, whining about having to quit his job to stay home with the kids -- hello, welcome to a woman's life for the past three million years.) but at the same time, kate treats him like a kid. constantly yelling at him for buying things without a coupon. or not disciplining the kids correctly. or not paying enough attention to the kids. or not talking enough. he's not allowed to do anything. and no matter what he does, it's wrong.

3. i was annoyed that neither jon nor kate would specifically tell us what was happening. i get it, you want your privacy. it's a private matter. BUT NEITHER OF YOU HAVE REAL JOBS. the money you make, to pay for your gigantic new house, all of the nannies and babysitters for the kids, and kate's fake tan and nails, it comes from pawning your adorable kids off on the public. so please, spare me the privacy bullshit, and give me the dirt.

4. they need to quit the show. the longer this goes on, the worse things will get. i'm already embarrassed for the family that they wanted to show jon and kate acting like immature teenagers at the kids' bday party. and then forcing them to sit side by side afterwards and have a battle of "who loves the kids more." it makes me cringe when i think about it.

5. finally, if they decide to start handing out kids, i call aaden.
