i love that he hates the internet:
“Yahoo called me eight weeks ago,” he said, voice rising. “They wanted to put a book of mine on Yahoo! You know what I told them? ‘To hell with you. To hell with you and to hell with the Internet.’ ”
“It’s distracting,” he continued. “It’s meaningless, it’s not real. It’s in the air somewhere.”
how cute is that? it just makes me want to give him a giant hug and walk him through the steps of setting up a personal email account. i'm the expert now.
(also, yahoo puts books on the internet? does yahoo still exist? perhaps he meant google. or he dreamed this up. both are much more plausible.)
