french guy was on the subway this morning. (see here and here for background information.)
i am so in love with him, it's not even funny. swoon.
anytime i see him on the subway, i know i gotta haul ass to get to work so i can be on the same elevator as he is. he walks much faster than i do. i don't know if its a french thing. or an i'm lazy thing.
so i'm walking as fast as my little fat legs can carry me so i can keep him in my line of vision. and some girl keeps getting in my way and i keep tripping over her legs. and i'm like, hey girl. i'm trying to keep up with my future french boyfriend. so please. walk faster or move aside.
i do end up getting to my building at the same time he does. although he's looking oh so cool with his suit jacket slung over his shoulder. and i may or may not have been panting slightly. and trembling because he's so cute. and while waiting for the elevator i looked over at him and smiled. a kind of "hey, look. we keep seeing each other. isn't that funny?" smile. but then i got nervous and looked away and so i think he just gave me a confused look. he probably hates me.
and then we were on the elevator together. alone. and all i wanted to do was french kiss him. but i just stood awkwardly in the corner, looking at my watch every two seconds. and he stood on the other side. looking really cute and french and relaxed.
crap. next time, i need to somehow trip him on the way to work. so i can help him up. and then he'll fall in love with me.
i feel like that might be my only option left.
Please do trip him. There is nothing I like more than a story in which people physically fall. People falling in love at the same time is such a bonus. Nab that Frenchman.
ReplyDeleteI love how my sister rarely comments on blogs, but when the possibility of physical harm is involved, she gets excited.
