so the elevators in my building are being revamped. i'm not sure what exactly is going on with the "elevator modernization project" but all i know is there are longer waits for the elevators. and one of them now comes with an elevator operator!
not even kidding, guys. i'm not sure why, but one of the maintenance guys now pushes the button for you!
i would feel sorry for him, if i weren't so busy being excited about this.
its just so delightful to have someone who automatically knows what floor i'm going to. he holds the door open for me. pushes the button. wishes me a nice day. it's wonderful.
sometimes, i mix it up and need to go to other floors in the building. i then make some kind of joke about it. and we have a good laugh, the elevator operator and i.
