great article! when i was working at the restaurant a few years back, they had me making "artisan zeppoles", which came in an "authentic" brown bag, with sides rolled artfully down and dipping sauce on the side.
i've always gotten a kick out of "low brow" (read: delicious) done up fancy-like.

i love casual food that's been fancied up too. makes it feel special and unique yet still familiar. definitely not as imposing and intimidating as regular ol' fancy food.
