lovely weekend was had by all, chicago edition.

airport rendez-vous with kisses and gummies (plus some slow motion running.) super cute hotel room, located blocks from oprah's apartment. lazy breakfasts and naps with movies on in the background. jimmy's gyros. being an assistant electrician AND learning how to use a walkie-talkie. sprinkles cupcakes and the inevitable tummyache that follows. massages and surprise fajitas. learning that the french own everything in the world and are the absolute best at everything. standing in line for an hour to go to the aquarium (seeing dolphins now makes me cry, thanksfornothingthecove, but i loved the white belugas.) and ending it all with a snazzy dinner in the posh part of town.

it went by much too fast.
