as a texas schoolchild, i was taught that santa anna was an evil villain. in my mind, he represents all that is wrong with this world. he was the responsible for the massacres at the alamo and goliad.
yeah, that's right. remember the freakin alamo.
and now i find out that something good came from this man? i dont believe it. my world has been turned upside down.
this is like finding out that hitler invented kittens.
